Basketball Game Preview: Jones County Greyhounds vs. Kendrick Cherokees + Official Tickets

The Jones County Greyhounds will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Kendrick Cherokees at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Jones County is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Warner Robins. The Greyhounds managed a 58-54 win over the Demons on Tuesday.

Justin Ray was the offensive standout of the contest as he went 7-for-14 en route to 19 points and seven boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was K.J. Gray, who put up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Kendrick got the win against Greenville on Friday by a conclusive 76-55. The victory continues a trend for the Cherokees in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won three in a row.
