Basketball Recap: Gresham Community Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Gresham Community Wildcats were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 41-36 to the Shiocton Chiefs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gresham Community's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Shiocton, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.

Gresham Community will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Menominee Indian at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Shiocton will take on Bonduel in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bonduel will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Shiocton surely won't give up without a fight.
