Softball Recap: James Island Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for James Island's offense. They came up short against the West Ashley Wildcats on Thursday, falling 11-0. The Trojans' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

James Island's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for West Ashley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

Coming up, James Island will venture away from home to take on Wando at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Ashley, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Stall at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. The Wildcats are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
