McGraw had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Homer Trojans with a sharp 16-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

McGraw's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Homer, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Coming up, Homer will head out to take on Cortland at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. McGraw will be paying especially close attention to the Trojans' game: after the Trojans face off against the Purple Tigers, they'll take on McGraw again at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
