Softball Recap: Sparta Spartans vs. Onalaska Hilltoppers
Sparta lost against Onalaska last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sparta Spartans fell 9-4 to the Onalaska Hilltoppers. Sparta has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kadynce Erickson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Sparta's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Onalaska, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sparta will take on Luther at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Sparta is facing Luther at the right time seeing as Luther is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Onalaska, they will be playing at home against Tomah at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
