Godley hasn't had much luck against Glen Rose recently, but that could start to change on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Godley made easy work of Mineral Wells and carried off a 42-21 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Godley relied on the efforts of Adam Pempsell, who gained 161 total yards and two touchdowns, and Ryder Papasan, who threw for 123 yards and three TDs. Those three passing touchdowns gave Papasan a new career-high.
