Recap: Westwood Panthers vs. Sebring Blue Streaks
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Westwood Panthers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were outmatched by Sebring on the road and fell 48-0. Westwood's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Todd Jackson threw for 98 yards on nine of 15 attempts. Jacob Mills was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards.
Leading Sebring to victory were Nick Rowe and Travis Kerney. Rowe rushed for 92 yards on only 11 carries, while Kerney rushed for 114 yards on only 12 carries.
Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Sebring, they have yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 8-2 record.
Westwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sebring will head out on the road to face off against Eau Gallie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eau Gallie is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
