Basketball Recap: Wichita HomeSchool Victorious

Wichita HomeSchool's game back in November was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 56-44 victory over the Conway Springs Cardinals.

When it comes to explaining why Conway Springs lost, don't look at Macie Hartman. Despite the final result, she went 7 for 15 on her way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Raylee Chitwood, who posted seven points.

The win got Wichita HomeSchool back to even at 1-1. As for Conway Springs, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Wichita HomeSchool will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Herington at 6:00 p.m. on January 28, 2025. As for Conway Springs, they will be taking part in a tournament against Halstead at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
