Basketball Recap: East Palestine Bulldogs vs. Wellsville Tigers
East Palestine unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Wellsville Tigers 55-26 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were down 41-20 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braydon Plum, who posted six points. Peyton Rutledge was another key player, putting up four points and 11 boards.
Wellsville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3.
