Baseball Recap: Thursday's Defeat Ends King/Drew's Winning Streak

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact King/Drew can now relate to. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sherman Oaks CES Knights on Thursday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Golden Eagles, who until this contest were averaging 3.57 runs allowed.

Sammy Ventura and Elijah Lugo did some serious damage despite the final result: Ventura went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base, while Lugo got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Arturo Rivas was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
