Baseball Recap: Panther Creek Takes a Loss

Panther Creek lost against Apex Friendship last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Catamounts fell 10-5 to the Patriots. The Catamounts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Panther Creek saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Doucette, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Jake Day was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Panther Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Apex Friendship, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Panther Creek has already played their next match, a 21-2 loss against Holly Springs on the 15th. As for Apex Friendship, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Willow Spring on the 12th.
