Soccer Recap: Capital's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against St. Albans on Tuesday, Capital came back down to earth. The Cougars came up short against the Hurricane Redskins on Thursday, falling 5-1. The loss continues a trend for Capital in their meetings with Hurricane: they've now lost five in a row.

Capital's goal came courtesy of Jeramiah Caldwell-Sandersrs, which was the first he's scored this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Capital fell to 3-1. As for Hurricane, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Capital is taking a road trip to square off against Winfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hurricane, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Huntington at 7:00 p.m. Hurricane's defense better be ready for this one: Huntington have averaged an impressive 4.2 goals per game this season.
