Baseball Recap: Tri-Central Takes a Loss

Clinton Central hit Tri-Central with a four-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 14-4. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Weston Enright made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Tri-Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Clinton Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Tri-Central and Clinton Central will both be playing Sheridan the next time they take the field. The Trojans will host the Blackhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
