Basketball Recap: Pequot Lakes Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

It's playoff time, and Pequot Lakes had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victor by a 59-37 margin over the Staples-Motley Cardinals on Wednesday. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 21 points or more this season.

Pequot Lakes is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 22-7 record this season. With the defeat, Staples-Motley broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-13.

As of now, neither Pequot Lakes nor Staples-Motley have any future games scheduled.
