Softball Recap: Rocky Mount Academy Eagles vs. Martin County Gators
While it was Rocky Mount Academy who put the first points on the board on Wednesday, it was Martin County who put up more. The Rocky Mount Academy Eagles fell 7-4 to the Martin County Gators.

Berkeley Miller was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up three earned runs off only one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was her first of the season.
