Baseball Recap: Milledgeville Comes Up Short

If Milledgeville was feeling good fresh off their 16-1 takedown of Polo on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Missiles fell just short of the Lena-Winslow Panthers by a score of 7-6 on Friday. The Missiles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Milledgeville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Lena-Winslow, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Milledgeville nor Lena-Winslow have any future games scheduled.
