Recap: Marysville Indians vs. Lincoln Fighting Zebras
The Marysville Indians lost against the Lincoln Fighting Zebras back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Marysville took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lincoln. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Marysville in their matchups with Lincoln: they've now lost three in a row.
Lincoln got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Roman Snyder out in front who scored 17 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Neely, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Marysville's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Lincoln, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.
Marysville will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Sutter at 7:00 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Jagger Beck and Dennis Syders. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to square off against West Park at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Park is on a three-game streak of home wins, Lincoln a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
