Volleyball Recap: Tali Tupe and Solaya Barker-Winton Secure Win for Snow Canyon

Snow Canyon's tournament run continued when they took on Manti on Saturday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Templars with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Snow Canyon's got stronger as the match went on, holding Manti to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-19.

Leading Snow Canyon to victory were Solaya Barker-Winton and Tali Tupe. Barker-Winton had 15 assists and four digs, while Tupe had nine kills, seven digs, and two aces. Barker-Winton is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

Snow Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Manti, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Snow Canyon will challenge Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manti, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Gunnison Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
