Basketball Recap: Rankin Takes a Loss

If Rankin was riding high fresh off their 55-21 takedown of Grandfalls-Royalty last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rankin Red Devils fell just short of the Ira Bulldogs by a score of 63-60 on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (55), the Red Devils still had to take the loss.

Rankin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Ira, their win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rankin will host Buena Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ira, they will take on Highland at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
