Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lunenburg walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Gardner Wildcats 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lunenburg has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Gardner, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

As of now, neither Lunenburg nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
