Zach Cwalinski Delivers Best Performance of Season

Valley View was led to victory by Zach Cwalinski, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Cwalinski rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 107 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 67 yards.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Valley View, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Cwalinski and Valley View will be playing in front of their home fans against Wyoming Valley West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Abington Heights was led to victory by Nick Bradley, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Bradley rushed for 31 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Abington Heights: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

The win got Abington Heights back to even at 4-4. Bradley and Abington Heights will head out to face off against Scranton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
