Baseball Recap: Berryville Comes Up Short

Berryville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Greenland Pirates, falling 12-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 back in March.

Berryville's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Greenland, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

Berryville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greenland, they will take on Siloam Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
