Volleyball Recap: Cypress Creek Comes Up Short

Cypress Creek lost against Memorial back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-6, 26-28, 25-12.

Luna Forh paced Cypress Creek's offense, picking up 11 kills. Forh got some help from Devyn Wilkes and her 22 assists.

Cypress Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 21-14. As for Memorial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Cypress Creek has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Cy-Fair on the 23rd. As for Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Northbrook on the 23rd.
