Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Comes Up Short

Lincoln County lost against Tolsia last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lincoln County Panthers came up short against the Tolsia Rebels, falling 74-54. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bray Mollette went supernova for Tolsia, almost dropping a double-double with 29 points and nine rebounds. Mollette has become a key player for Tolsia: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least 15 points, but 2-15 otherwise. Another player making a difference was CJ Waller, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 boards.

Lincoln County's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Tolsia, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-16.

Lincoln County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 92-63 defeat against Scott on the 25th. Tolsia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
