Basketball Game Preview: Brady Bulldogs vs. Ballinger Bearcats

Brady is 2-8 against Ballinger since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Bearcats at 12:30 p.m. Ballinger took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Brady, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Brady got the win against Comanche by a conclusive 45-23. The Bulldogs have beaten the Indians the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Indians has come to flipping the script.

Demarcus Reed had a dynamite game, dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Blane James, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Ballinger came up short against Lake View on Monday and fell 52-39. The Bearcats have struggled against the Chiefs/Maidens recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Brady's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Ballinger, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Brady beat Ballinger 58-48 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
