Glades Day is 10-0 against Pahokee since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Glades Day Gators will square off against the Pahokee Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. Pahokee took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Glades Day, who comes in off a win.

Glades Day's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Moore Haven by a score of 2-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Gators were the better team in the second half.

Madison Baez and Alana Baeza scored both of Glades Day's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Pahokee has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They came up short against South Fork on Tuesday, falling 13-0. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 554th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 71st).

Pahokee's loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Glades Day, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.

Everything went Glades Day's way against Pahokee when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as Glades Day made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glades Day since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
