Softball Recap: Racine Case Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Racine Case can now relate to. They came up short against the Franklin Sabers on Thursday, falling 14-0. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Racine Case's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Franklin, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Racine Case does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin, they will square off against Oak Creek on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Sabers 3.3, the Knights 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
