It was a proper cat-fight when Alexander took on Villa Rica on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Wildcats, falling 4-1. Alexander's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Emory Pitts, who's now up to 29 this season.

Alexander's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-3. As for Villa Rica, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alexander will head out to take on Hillgrove at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
