Basketball Recap: Lustre Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dodson on Friday, Lustre Christian came back down to earth. The Lustre Christian Lions took a blow against the Circle Wildcats on Saturday, falling 61-18. The match marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lustre Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Circle, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lustre Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nashua at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Circle, they will square off against Frazer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Frazer's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
