After a string of four wins, Powhatan's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the James River Midlothian Rapids. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Powhatan couldn't push the score so high this time.

Powhatan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for James River Midlothian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, Powhatan and James River Midlothian will both be playing Clover Hill the next time they take the pitch. The Indians will host the Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rapids will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
