Basketball Recap: St. Clairsville Takes a Loss

St. Clairsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 64-31 loss at the hands of the Cambridge Bobcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-39 back in December of 2024.

St. Clairsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Cambridge, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-7 record.

St. Clairsville and Cambridge could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. St. Clairsville (ranked 702nd) will meet Bellaire (ranked 100th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Cambridge (ranked 636th) will meet Union Local (ranked 88th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
