Pinnacle Classical Academy has won four straight games at home, while Community Christian Academy has won four straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. Pinnacle Classical Academy had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt The Master's Academy on Monday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Lions. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Tyler Johnson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Johnson was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played.

In other batting news, Keegan McIntyre was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Holden Austin was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Pinnacle Classical Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .457. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as The Master's Academy only posted a batting average of .280.
Meanwhile, Community Christian Academy got the win against Christian Family Academy on April 8th by a conclusive 13-1.
Like Pinnacle Classical Academy, Community Christian Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Aiden Thomas. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Thomas was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Landon Norman was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with seven RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Cole Richardson, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Pinnacle Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Community Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Pinnacle Classical Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Community Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
