Connetquot came tearing into Monday's matchup with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Port Jefferson Royals with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Connetquot was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-18.

Connetquot's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elena Carro, who had eight digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Carro a new career-high in assists (six). Ava Truglio also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Connetquot was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive matches.

Connetquot's victory bumped their record up to 22-2-1.

Looking ahead, Connetquot will head out on the road to face off against North Babylon at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Port Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
