Tuesday just wasn't the day for Darlington's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wilson Tigers on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Darlington has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Wilson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

While Darlington had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
