Basketball Recap: Ridgedale Takes a Loss

Ridgedale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 52-40 to the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rockets of the 51-44 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Ridgedale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Cory-Rawson, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgedale will venture away from home to face off against Fredericktown at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cory-Rawson, they are taking a road trip to take on Arcadia at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
