Flag Football Recap: Reavis Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 34-6, which was the final score in the Reavis Rams's tilt against the Hillcrest Hawks on Thursday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even if they lost, Reavis' defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Amanda Lechuga Rios.

Reavis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Hillcrest, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Reavis is set to square off against their familiar foe Hancock at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hillcrest will face off against rival Lyons at 10:15 a.m. on October 4. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hawks 14.6, the Lions 3.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
