Volleyball Recap: Medfield Beats Pembroke for Their Third Straight Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Medfield had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Pembroke Titans. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Medfield found their leader in sophomore Liya Raut, who had seven aces and six digs. Ellie Hennessy also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Medfield was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matches.

Medfield's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Pembroke, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-5.

Medfield has already played their next contest (against Case), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pembroke does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
