Hudson lost against Aplington-Parkersburg back in September of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates fell 27-14 to the Falcons. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hudson's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-4. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they pushed their record up to 3-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
