Flag Football Recap: Alhambra Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Alhambra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Acalanes Dons. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Dons are ranked 70th).

Courtney Reed threw for 51 yards on ten of 18 attempts. Amirah Miller was her top target, picking up 38 receiving yards.

Alhambra's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Acalanes, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Alhambra has already played their next matchup, a 30-0 victory against Ygnacio Valley on the 24th. As for Acalanes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 34-0 win against Mt. Diablo on the 24th.
