Volleyball Recap: North Middlesex Regional Comes Up Short

North Middlesex Regional entered their match against Wachusett Regional on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the Mountaineers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While North Middlesex Regional was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 25-16.

North Middlesex Regional's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Wachusett Regional, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

North Middlesex Regional will head out on the road to take on Blackstone Valley RVT at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wachusett Regional, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Tewksbury Memorial at 5:15 p.m.
