Basketball Recap: Tri-County Gets the Win

Tri-County hadn't done well against Pattonsburg recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Tri-County Mustangs managed a 48-42 victory over the Pattonsburg Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-65 back in December of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Tri-County and bumps their season record up to 6-7. As for Pattonsburg, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Tri-County has already played their next match (against Winston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Pattonsburg Panthers duke it out with the Worth County Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
