Wyatt Sims Game Report: @ Eagle's Landing

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Wyatt Sims stepped things up a notch to give Putnam County the 'W'. Sims scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. The effort also marked the fewest hits (one) he has had since back in March of 2024. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (two).

Sims' effort led Putnam County over Eagle's Landing and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eagle's Landing is limping into the matchup having lost 13 straight at home dating back to last season.
