Soccer Recap: Carnegie Vanguard Comes Up Short

Carnegie Vanguard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Sharpstown Apollos, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Apollos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in February.

Carnegie Vanguard's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Sharpstown, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.
