Volleyball Recap: Kingston Comes Up Short

Kingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Steelville Cardinals. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kingston couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Steelville a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-8, 29-31, 25-11.

Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Steelville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-2.

Coming up, Kingston will head out on the road to challenge Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Steelville, they will challenge Bourbon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
