Baseball Recap: West Aurora Snags Ninth Victory in Last Ten Games

While West Aurora put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Larkin. The Blackhawks blew past the Royals 14-0. The result was nothing new for the Blackhawks, who have now won 16 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

West Aurora has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Larkin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-26.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Aurora will challenge Glenbard East at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Blackhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Larkin, they will take on Riverside-Brookfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
