Basketball Recap: Tenafly Takes a Loss

Tenafly played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Ramapo Raiders, falling 69-39. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now lost four in a row.

Ryan Goldman had an outrageously good game for Ramapo as he went 10 for 16 on his way to 25 points. Those 25 points gave Goldman a new career-high. Finn Marrah was another key player, as he made all 5 shots he took to post 13 points and eight boards.

Tenafly's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Ramapo, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Tenafly will host NV - Old Tappan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ramapo, they will venture away from home to challenge Wayne Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ramapo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season.
