Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central lost to Shipley back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lancers came up short against Shipley, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Lancers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Central dropped their record down to 8-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Shipley, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Coming up, Central will head out to face off against Friends' Central at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Central's pitchers better be ready for this one: Friends' Central has averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Shipley, they will square off against Perkiomen School at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
