Basketball Recap: Lee Victorious

Lee hadn't done well against Abingdon recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lee Generals narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Abingdon Falcons 35-33. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 83-79 back in December of 2024.

The win got Lee back to even at 6-6. As for Abingdon, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lee beat Abingdon by a score of 35-33 later that day.
