Softball Recap: Skyridge Comes Up Short

Lehi hit Skyridge with a five-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons lost 9-0 to the Pioneers. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost three in a row.

Skyridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Lehi, they moved to 12-7 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Skyridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-3 win against Lone Peak on the 21st. As for Lehi, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 defeat against Westlake on the 18th.
