Perry Meridian faced Roncalli in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Royals. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-10.

Ramlian Thang paced Perry Meridian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Thang got some help from Thomas Cung and his 15 assists.

Perry Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Roncalli, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Perry Meridian will face off against rival Fishers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Roncalli is set to take on their familiar foe Southport at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
